The Small Credit Union Advocacy Advisory Panel is charged with recommending and advising on policy positions America’s Credit Unions may take to provide relief to small credit unions currently struggling under growing competitive pressures and increasing regulatory burdens. Applicants should be well-versed on legislative and regulatory challenges facing small credit unions and be willing to share ideas to help create policy positions and advance small credit union advocacy strategy. We are looking for strong representation across small credit unions—in geographical location, field of membership type, asset size, and expertise and experience.
The advisory panel will be comprised of:
- A group of 30 members from credit unions with up to $250 million in assets
- CEOs preferred; senior managers or executive leaders are ideal candidates to serve on this advisory panel
- 1-3 members representing Leagues
The advisory panel will meet virtually six times per year.
All advisory panel members will have staggered two-year terms.
